Tank renovating project

This project is implemented by the National Food Promotion Board with the Agrarian Development Department to renovate 100 of selected tanks from each district. Hambantota, Monaragala, Ratnapura, and Kurunegala are the selected districts to implement this project. The main objective of this project is to increase the capacity of the existing tank project and fulfill the basic needs identified in each village.As for the progress excavation activities of 6 tanks in Hambantota district have been completed.Identification of villages with basic needs in the Hambantota district has commenced.
